The journey of creating begins with a spark from deep within. The artist continues on the loom of life and throughout time a beautiful tapestry takes shape and form from the luscious fibres, brilliant gems and precious pearls we encounter along the way....

A Thank You Card featuring KaiserKraft Peachy Keen

Hello All my Scrapping Good Friends!

Today I am posting a Thank You card using a beautiful paper collection from Kaiserkraft called Peachy Keen.  I used the Colored Rub-ons 8.5x5" package that features the colorful birds that is found on some of the paper selections in this collection.  For the Label diecut I used one of the larger label dies -- Spellbinders nestability, Labels 8 and matted it with corresponding brown paper.  I used the Spellbinders Grand Borderability Classic Lace die for a ribbon border which I cut from chocolate brown velvet paper that is made by SEI.  That rich velvet paper is not only pleasing to the eye but also to the touch for those of us who want to feel the dimensions as well as see it.  The sentiment is a JustRite stamp from the JustRite Baroque Nested Frames and Occasions

This card was a joy to design and came together quite simply with the rub-ons doing much of the color work and the rich paper selections enhancing the label and sentiment very nicely...  For any of the products you see on this card, visit Scrapaholics.ca and check out the Monday Madness sale going on until 12:00 midnight tonight. Stay tuned for some more interesting projects...
