The journey of creating begins with a spark from deep within. The artist continues on the loom of life and throughout time a beautiful tapestry takes shape and form from the luscious fibres, brilliant gems and precious pearls we encounter along the way....

A Second Caardvark JustRite Challenge post!!

Wow, I love these wedding invitation cards! In this card I used a cream on cream cardstock base with a beautiful cream pattern paper enriched with a glossy swirl design. I used the same Sizzix plate in the swirl design to emboss a Spellbinders nesties label as a top panel. I used the JustRite Loving Thoughts Sentiments and the 2" square borders stamp set to stamp the sentiment in the middle of the card. Between the upper and lower panels I placed a lace ribbon with sequins and pearls. I topped the design off with the cuttlebug butterfly die and embossing folders set and encrusted the butterfly bodies with pearls. The inside of the card is panelled with the same petallics cardstock and swirl pattern paper as is on the outside lower panel, embellishing the corners with delicate flowers and pearls. This card has a more contemporary feel to it than the first entry. Stay tuned for one more Caardvark Challenge entry that will have a more vintage, old world feel to it. If you want to see when the next challenge card is posted, subscribe to my blog with Feedburner on the top left hand side of this blog. Let me know what you think...
