April House Mouse Stamp of the Month

Featuring April House Mouse Stamp, this card was created with Spring in mind! With an eye for detail, I always decorate the insides of my cards and this one is no exception. This card is a gift holder designed to offer packets of flower seeds to the recipient.

On this gift card I used Basic Grey's Indian Summer 6"x6" pad pattern paper, Spellbinders Label's 8 nestabilities, and I colored the image with Copics markers. A Second Caardvark JustRite Challenge post!!

Wow, I love these wedding invitation cards! In this card I used a cream on cream cardstock base with a beautiful cream pattern paper enriched with a glossy swirl design. I used the same Sizzix plate in the swirl design to emboss a Spellbinders nesties label as a top panel. I used the JustRite Loving Thoughts Sentiments and the 2" square borders stamp set to stamp the sentiment in the middle of the card. Between the upper and lower panels I placed a lace ribbon with sequins and pearls. I topped the design off with the cuttlebug butterfly die and embossing folders set and encrusted the butterfly bodies with pearls. The inside of the card is panelled with the same petallics cardstock and swirl pattern paper as is on the outside lower panel, embellishing the corners with delicate flowers and pearls. This card has a more contemporary feel to it than the first entry. Stay tuned for one more Caardvark Challenge entry that will have a more vintage, old world feel to it. Hello Everyone... Here is a Caardvarks Entry!

Here is my first entry in the Caardvarks "Lacy Days" challenge for an opportunity to "win" a Guest Designer spot at JustRite Stampers! I love these challenges, they are sooooo fun! As you all may be guessing at, I love to design wedding cards and invitations. I am sticking to my first "love" in this challenge and I have a couple more that I want to enter. In this card I have used the JustRite Loving Thoughts set as the sentiment and cut it out with Spellbinders Scallop Circle - petite. Under the sentiment I used Heidi Swapp glitter flowers in white and placed a K&Co. jewelled brads in each corner. I used cream on cream cardstock and embossed the bottom panel with the Sizzix swirl embossing plate, distressing it with Ranger distressing ink in Vintage Photo. A complimentary light green cardstock and pattern paper was used on the topmost panel to add a soft contrast to the design. A lace ribbon was added between the two panels for a lacy and "old world" feel! Let me know what you think ....

Classic Elegant Black and White

Here is another card that I whipped up with some of my other cards that I have been working on. This card is simple and elegant with not a lot of fuss. Sometimes in our work, less is more and just does the trick.

I used two colors of wide column card stock as well as a gold shiny foil cardstock for highlights. Spellbinders Pendants, Fluers De Lis and JustRite Square Borders and Sentiments. Inside I used an EK Success corner punch to accent the same matting product that is on the front panels.

Good day everyone. It is a wonderful Saturday and the weather is warming up. I am still working away on wedding invites and hope to get a substantial bit done today. I plan to take pics of these invites as they shape up and add them to my blog...

By clicking on it, you add your address and you will be notified of each new post I put on and can keep updated with my latest projects without having to go and look for my blog each time...
